It's a War!!

It's no lie when the Bible says we're in a battle, in a war. Here, now, and for a while we'll be discussing what this looks like.

Spiritual warfare (demonic attacks etc.) and Personal warfare (the battle within ourselves against sin).

I don't know how long we'll be into this, but I want those of you who are coming to be experts in the area of battling with the Enemy. Through Christ and His word we will all learn together.

This will get pretty intense I'm sure, but none of it will be unbiblical or untrue. It's time to know our Enemy and know ourselves. :)

DATING!!!

This past week we talked about relationships! :)
Learning the right way to have a boyfriend or girlfriend, or whether it's even time to have one.
One of the leading causes of depression in teens today is dating relationships and the drama that it causes.

We do not know how to simply have a friendship anymore with the opposite gender. Everything in us is saying "I need ONE for ME! I'm lonely and it'd be nice to have someone to call and talk to."

Love... anything that has ever failed was not love. Love works through everything. This kind of agape love isn't ready for a high school relationship. It's for the mature...it's from Christ.

Stay friends...let God make it romantic when love is Juuuuuust right and ripe :)

PASTOR DWAYNE TESTIMONY!

Hello Everyone!

Last week we learned about fasting, then fasted all day Friday, then came together Saturday and talked about our experience. It was amazing. Most people said that they were very irritable and angry. Some of us said we didn't FEEL closer to God, but tha'ts not what it's about. We KNOW that we are pleasing Him. What an incredible experience.

Tomorrow Pastor Dwayne will be giving his testimony. I am personally VERY excited to hear his story. A man who has gone through a cancer journey unlike anyone else and who is living to tell it. Not simply alive and living life, but TRULY LIVING and leading churches and people to the loving knowledge of JESUS CHRIST! Powerful stuff yal!

Faith!

This past week we talked about Faith. I wasn't sure how it was going. Seemed that everyone was really distracted, or I was really boring ;). But God always pulls through. He touched the hearts of three people that I care about dearly, Madison, Zach, and Krystal. He lead them to Himself and they accepted Christ.

If Faith in Christ produces Hope.Joy.Peace. and Confidence and you feel hopeless, joyless, wrestless and insecure then Ask God to help your unbelief as the man asked Jesus, "Help my unbelief"! (Mark 9:14-29)

If you cannot stand in front of others and say "Jesus is my Lord" and if there is doubt in your heart, then don't expect to be a Christian (Hebrews 10:9. Do'nt pretend and fool yourself and others, be real. God says that if you cannot accept Him then he cannot accept you. Take responsibility for your actions and your life. He loves you, just accept it.

Two things to increase your faith.
1. Get in your word (Hebrews 4:12 and Romans 10:17)
2. Look to Jesus and get rid of the crap that harms your relationship with Him...Sin (Hebrews 12:1-2)

He has a better life for your and you know it. SO many people know it and are simply unwilling to accept it.

Keep praying for the hardened heart and the hurt heart. God wants to restore us all. :)

THURSDAY NIGHT WAS AMAZING!

Tonight was POWERFUL! Real life change occurred in alot of us. Thanks Yal.

Tonight we talked about Sin. Three kids of sin 1. knowing what you shouldn't do and doing it. 2. knowing what you SHOULD do and NOT doing it. 3. and simply the sin that is in our hearts.

Sin is something that puts a screen between you and your relationship with Christ. The more and more there is the harder it is to see our Father. He loves us SO MUCH that he doesn't want ANYTHING to be in the way of that relationship.

Remember that the shoe might be too small and you may not even notice.
